When One Bush Became Two (poem)

One disregarded all our freedoms,

the other took them all away.

Then made his imperial kingdom on America’s darkest day.

Now we have Air Marshal’s with machine guns,

and policemen on patrol.

Are they guarding the peoples freedom,

is this freedom or control?

What one Bush couldn’t do,

the other one followed through,

and are problems only grew.

When one Bush became two.

The father called it a New World Order.

The son, the son would make it so.

Erasing all our borders thinking you,

would never know.

Now we have free speech zones,

they’ll tap your phone,

Homeland security’s on patrol.

Are they guarding the peoples freedom.

Is this freedom, or control?

Now, I sure love my country, but that don’t make them right.

When I think about Guantanamo, I can’t sleep at night.

For sake of our security, Bush took away your liberty,

This is not the same land we called free.

But now that he has made his thrown,

that’s the America we call home.

American people, don’t be to blind to see,

that John McCain is Bush number three!
